ASC Projects is pleased to announce the fifth live residency, featuring visual artist Craig Calderwood. Beginning August 11, 2015, Calderwood will set up shop in the gallery to create new works for her Beast of Burden series.

Beast of Burden is an Inter-Species-Trans-Muddle confronting the consumption of bio matter by the “Masculine Accuser”, The figures I will be working live in expectations to give up the flesh of their being, with a smile. :)”

The ASC/AiR residency creates an opportunity for visitors to witness, experience, and investigate the art-making process while giving artists a space to create new works and experiment in an exhibition venue that is open to the public. The residency then culminates into a solo exhibition September 4th with an artist reception from 7-9pm.
